Kpododo Consult Partners with Savannah Peace Council to Deliver Peace Messages via Voice Messaging Technology in Local Languages

Kpododo Consult is proud to announce a new partnership with the Savannah Regional Peace Council (SRPC) to support peacebuilding efforts across the Savannah Region. This collaboration focuses on disseminating vital peace and conflict resolution messages in local languages through our mobile messaging platform.

The project, supported by the National Peace Council (NPC), UNDP, and the Embassies of Denmark and Luxembourg, targets women-led community groups across West Gonja. It includes activities on mediation, early warning, and stakeholder dialogue, aimed at preventing conflicts and strengthening local peace infrastructures.

Kpododo Consult plays a key role by transcribing peace messages into Dagare and Gonja and broadcasting them directly to community members through the Kpododo Mobile Messaging Platform. These messages reinforce key training themes and serve as a reminder of the civic duty of early warning, the value of women’s voices in dialogue spaces, and the power of non-violent conflict resolution.

Through this partnership, we ensure participants in Damongo, Busunu, Larabanga, Yipala, Nabori, Mempeasem, and Tailorpe receive consistent, culturally relevant reminders of their role in sustaining peace.

This initiative builds on SRPC’s efforts to train over 150 women across three projects:

  • Peacebuilding and early warning,
  • Mediation training,
  • Multi-stakeholder dialogue sessions.

Together, we aim to amplify the impact of these interventions by ensuring that peace messages reach communities in languages they understand and trust. Our platform enables fast, wide-reaching, and locally relevant communication—critical for building lasting peace in a region vulnerable to conflict and extremism.
